A list of live music venues in Fort Worth wouldn’t be complete without a mention of Billy Bob’s. This club is known for being the world’s largest honky-tonk and it has almost three acres of great live music under one roof. Plus, there’s even an indoor rodeo arena for thrilling live bull riding every Friday and Saturday! If you work up an appetite you can enjoy the down-home country eats at the Honky Tonk Kitchen. They serve up everything from burgers to BBQ to Ribeyes to chicken fried steak and more.

Magnolia Motor Lounge

A fun and laid back venue with automotive-inspired decor, Magnolia Motor Lounge features live music almost every night of the week. The bands featured here include Dylan Stewart, Cut Throat Finches, Heart of the City, Hollow Ends and many more.

Magnolia Motor Lounge is also a great spot to grab food while you’re enjoying the tunes. The head chef offers delicious new food concoctions every week – such as rib sandwiches, homemade pastas and mouthwatering burgers.

Shipping and Receiving

This large industrial space is located within an old warehouse in the Near Southside District. It’s a funky, hipster spot with local music, food trucks, craft beer, art installations and more.

You can play shuffleboard while you listen to the music, or dine on street-eats at one of the long tables constructed from old doors. The smaller venue here allows for a more intimate concert experience and the bartenders are laid back and friendly.

Lola’s Saloon

This friendly dive bar showcases some of the best local and national bands in Fort Worth, just off Fort Worth’s West 7th Street. It’s known for drawing great touring bands to the city and you can see live music here any night of the week.

The small stage is a fantastic showcase for great musical acts and it makes the concert feel so much more intimate. Plus, the venue also often hosts local acoustic sets and solo acts on the outdoor patio. (It’s also known as Lola’s Trailer Park Bar.)

Panther Island Pavilion

What if you could watch a live music concert while floating on an inner tube in the river and sipping a cold beer? The Panther Island Pavilion is a unique venue on the banks of the Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth and it has the only waterfront stage in all of Texas. In the summer, you can see some of the best concerts in North Texas while reclining on your inflatable unicorn or giant flamingo. The ‘Rockin’ the River’ Tubing and Music series happens every Thursday night in the summer and even features a fireworks show.

Three Links

If you’re into punk rock music, Three Links is the place for you. It’s known as “headquarters” because it’s where everyone gathers to drink, chat and listen to traveling and local bands. The large garage doors let everyone passing by hear the rockin’ music that plays all night long. Plus, this great venue has a real heat – raising money for charitable causes and hosting potluck dinners, benefit shows and more.

Scat Jazz Lounge

When you venture down the alley and enter this chilled out jazz lounge, you might feel like you’re heading back in time to a classic 1920s speakeasy. It’s a little bit different from all the Country- Western-focused music venues in Fort Worth, which is what makes it so interesting.

This is an effortlessly cool place, with some of the best jazz you’ll hear in Fort Worth. Scat Jazz Lounge is open every night of the week and if you visit on Sundays, Tuesday and Wednesdays you can enjoy one of the cover-free nights. On the weekends the live music is so popular that you might have to reserve a spot in advance.

The Flying Saucer

The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is considered a Fort Worth local institution. It’s the highest rated music venue in Fort Worth on Yelp and it features great live music on the patio stage. It also features a fantastic selection of draft and bottled beer, as well as made to order pizza, Angus burgers and house-smoked salmon. The Flying Saucer was named one of the 12 Best Bars in America by GQ Magazine – and it’s pretty easy to see why!
