is a wine collaboration founded in 2008 between Food & Wine Magazine
2009 Winemaker of the year, Charles Smith
(K Vintners, Charles Smith Wines) and Charles Bieler
(Three Thieves, BIELER Pere et Fils, Sombra mezcal).
This is a light, fruity, easy drinking bottle with a great blackberry bouquet. We served it up with steak, but it was a little thin for that. It would be great alongside a pepperoni pizza, but not just a frozen pizza, a good artisan pizza with some creativity and kick.
It’s still a great wine you can kick open and drink on its own too.
