UPDATE: HERE ARE THE TASTING NOTES FOR THE 2014 CRAFT BEER ADVENT CALENDAR
About The 2014 Craft Beer Advent Calendar
The first edition of the Craft BeerAdvent® Calendar was distributed in 2012. The demand was so intense that retailers were sold out in days. It featured a roster of European craft brews. In 2013 the production was increased to supply the demand. The calendar sold out again and featured beers from North America.
The 2014 Craft BeerAdvent® Calendar will allow craft beer drinkers across Canada to enjoy 24 different premium craft beers that are not presently available in stores. In fact, more than two thirds of the beers are being brewed specifically for this calendar edition. This year the beers are originating from 18 countries and 6 continents.
Craft Beer Advent Calendar Where To Buy
Here are some maps to find the Craft Beer Advent Calendar in Western Canada:
Here’s the Saskatchewan map (only stores in Saskatoon and Regina will be selling the Craft Beer Advent Calendar)
How much does the 2014 Craft Beer Advent Calendar cost? That depends. Liquor laws are different across the country. Some are free market, some are government controlled. Expect to pay between $6 and $7 per beer. I’ve seen prices as low as $130, and as high as $170.
My boys even love the Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Each morning, they bounce down the stairs to open their chocolate or LEGO door, and then they move to my big box to take turns finding Daddy’s beer. Once found, we put it in the fridge so it’s ready later that night after a long day.
Kids are good, they bring you beer!
Have fun with your calendar, enjoy the season and ..ahem .. Merry Christmas!
